PETALING JAYA: It is possible to screen Malaysian university students for tendencies that could suggest they might join or support terrorist organisations, said Universiti Sains Malaysia criminologist and psychologist Dr Geshina Ayu Mat Saat.
“Yes, it is possible. Some universities and many organisations already have a psychological screening in place. These screenings are typically based on Western instruments and unfortunately, not many have been validated or adapted to the Malaysian culture and norms.
