Authorities contact Monash University Malaysia regarding Dhaka militants


PETALING JAYA: Authorities have contacted Monash University Malaysia over a suspect involved in the Dhaka attacks, believed to be one of its alumni.

Dr Susheela Nair, spokesperson for Monash University Malaysia, said; ""Over the weekend we became aware through social media discussions that some of the alleged perpetrators of the Bangladeshi terror attacks had reportedly at one time studied at Monash Malaysia as well as attended other universities and schools," she said.
