Two dead as express bus crashes near Ipoh


IPOH: Two people were killed when an express bus crashed at KM194.9 of the North-South Expressway near the Bukit Merah rest area.

The accident occurred when the northbound bus tried to avoid a fallen tyre which had come from the opposite lane. However, the driver lost control of the vehicle and hit the divider splitting the northbound and southbound lanes at around 5.45pm, Friday.
