Debate must be held in a peaceful manner, says DAP

GEORGE TOWN: The debate on the proposed Penang undersea tunnel and three paired roads should be held in a gentlemanly spirit where the public can have a chance to hear from both sides, said Penang DAP chairman Chow Kon Yeow.

No character assassination should take place during the debate between state Works, Utilities and Transportation Committee chairman Lim Hock Seng and Gerakan secretary-general Datuk Liang Teck Meng tomorrow, said Chow, who is state Local Government, Traffic Management and Flood Mitigation Committee chairman.
