Don: Absence of Azmin’s resources added to Pakatan’s loss

KLANG: The absence of Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Azmin Ali and his election machinery at Sungai Besar had cost Pakatan Harapan the by-election, says a political analyst.

Assoc Prof Dr Sivamurugan Pandian of Universiti Sains Malaysia’s School of Social Sciences said that the outcome may also have been a little different if Azmin had invoked the state machinery like what Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir had done from nomination day right up to the end for the Kuala Kangsar by-election.
