KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian police are awaiting the green light from British authorities to record a statement from Briton Richard Huckle (pic) who has been sentenced to life imprisonment in Britain for sex abuse against children in Malaysia and Cambodia.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said the police had applied to record the statement through “mutual legal assistance” with the help of the Attorney-General’s Chambers and the Foreign Ministry.
