PETALING JAYA: Wanita MCA wants the PAS candidate for the Kuala Kangsar by-election Dr Najihatussalehah Ahmad to explain if by supporting PAS’ Syariah Bill, she is willing to accept the “revocation of women’s constitutional rights”.
Datuk Heng Seai Kie said Wanita MCA was not surprised that Dr Najihatussalehah intended to vote in favour of PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang’s Private Member’s Bill to amend the Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act.
