Probe university over teaching module, urges Vell Paari

PETALING JAYA: MIC’s Datuk Seri S. Vell Paari (pic) has called for Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) to be investigated under the Sedition Act for having allowed the publishing of a teaching module that is derogatory to Hindus and Sikhs.

While acknowledging the efforts of Deputy Education Minister Datuk P. Kamalanathan for having pointed out the mistake to the vice-chancellor of the university, Vell Paari said that an admission of the mistake was not enough.
