Sacrilege: The three deity statues desecrated at the Sri Dharma Muniswarar Temple in Penanti Estate, Penang.

BUKIT MERTAJAM: Another Hindu temple in Penanti here has been desecrated, 10 days after a temple in the same vicinity had its divine statues knocked down from a pedestal.

At the Sri Dharma Muniswarar Temple, which is located only 1km from Muthu Mariamman Temple in Penanti Estate, the scene where the first incident took place, the idols of Lords Ganesha, Muruga and Muniswarar were vandalised in the same manner.
