Billboard war turns ugly

SUNGAI BESAR: Campaigning for the by-elections in Sungai Besar and Kuala Kangsar took a negative turn when Election Commission (EC) officials had to pull down a few billboards.

In Sekinchan here, the billboards, including one with an offensive message, had been put up at an intersection off the main road in the town. A banner criticising an Umno politician was also displayed.
