Police probe death of Zahid’s son-in-law


KUALA LUMPUR: Police have taken statements from several individuals to facilitate their inves­­tigations into the death of Datuk Syed Alman Zain Syed Alwi, the son-in-law of Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who died while receiving treatment at a dental clinic in Bangsar on Wednesday.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Amar Singh Ishar Singh said the police had recorded statements from the clinic’s staff and other individuals as well.
