PAS urges for proportional representation general election


KOTA BARU: PAS has called for the government to consider using the "proportional representation" method that would result in a more free and fair elections.

PAS central election director Datuk Mustafa Ali (pic) said proportional representation, used in countries like Belgium, Indonesia, Germany and Turkey, would create a more peaceful process of deciding on a government.
