GEORGE TOWN: Oil samples have been sent to the Chemist Department to determine the source of the spill along the Penang coastline, said Northern Region Marine Department director Kapt Abdul Samad Shaik Osman.
“Several samples have been taken from the site and also the impounded tanker. Analysis will be carried out to check if the oil came from the tanker.
