BUKIT MERTAJAM : The magistrate's court has sentenced the veterinary department officer who was charged with assaulting his wife inside a lift to a eight-months jail term and RM2,000 fine in default of two months imprisonment.
Magistrate Mohd Fitri Sadardin, in his judgement, ruled that the defence failed to raise reasonable doubt against prosecution.
