Bridge collapse cuts off access to orang asli village


Stop-gap measure: Motorists and pedestrians using a make-shift bridge to cross between Kuala Terla and the Pos Terisu orang asli village.

IPOH: Access between Kuala Terla and the Pos Terisu orang asli village at Cameron Highlands was cut off after a bridge collapsed during a heavy downpour.

The incident is believed to have occurred between 2.30am and 3am yesterday, with flooding near Jalan Kolam Air in Brinchang, 18km from Kuala Terla.
