Malaysia to get advice from IOC, WHO on zika virus issue

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia will follow the advice of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and World Health Organisation (WHO) regarding the Zika virus issue which has affected the Olympic Games host country, Brazil.

Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) president Tan Sri Tunku Imran Tuanku Jaafar said that he believed the host nation would be safe for all athletes and that the games’ organising committee has taken major steps to address this matter.
