SABAK BERNAM: Meru assemblyman Dr Abdul Rani Osman has been announced as the PAS candidate for the Sungai Besar parliamentary by-election.
PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang, who made the announcement, said the party needed a leader who would "jump" for the people and Dr Abdul Rani was a "real deal".
