GEORGE TOWN: DAP’s Tanjong MP Ng Wei Aik was freed by a Sessions Court of a charge of violating the Sedition Act.
Ng sighed in relief when Sessions Court judge Ibrahim Osman ruled that the prosecution had failed to prove a prima facie case against him and ordered Ng to be acquitted and discharged at the close of the prosecution’s case.
