Libel suit against Nga settled

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and his wife have settled a libel suit against Nga Kor Ming after the DAP MP voiced regret over his Facebook post of a photograph that implied that the couple had abused their power.

Yesterday, Nga’s lawyer Alex Tan Chie Sian read out a statement on behalf of his client, saying that the Taiping MP “had been made to understand that the picture was taken in China when the Prime Minister was making arrangements to return to Malaysia upon learning of the passing of the late Sultan of Perak Sultan Azlan Shah”.
