KOTA KINABALU: Knowledge of survival skills was what kept a Spanish couple and two others alive as they remained adrift in the South China Sea for nine days.
Spaniards David Hernandez Gasulla and Martha Miguel had learnt survival skills from their frequent treks in the wild and put them into good use until they were rescued by Vietnamese fishing vessels.
