SELANGOR exco member V. Ganapathi Rao has slammed reports that state authorities allegedly tore down, without prior notice, the houses of 30 Indian families and several shrines in Ijok, Tamil Nesan reported.
Personnel from various departments reportedly descended on Kampung Seri Aman at about 9am on Tuesday to begin the demolitions. But the incident only involved four houseowners who had refused an offer to relocate, claiming they had been living there for about 60 years, he said.
