Thieves blast ATM and flee with RM70,000

KOTA KINABALU: It took three thieves just 10 minutes to blast open an automated teller machine and get away with about RM70,000.

The men fled in a dark-coloured Honda CRV after ripping open a Bank Simpanan Nasional ATM with home-made explosives and grabbing the box containing the cash in the 1.20am incident at Membakut town yesterday.
