Penang Speaker rejects motion to limit CM’s term

GEORGE TOWN: A motion to amend the state constitution to limit the Penang chief minister’s term has been rejected by the state assembly Speaker.

DAP assemblyman Teh Yee Cheu, who proposed the motion, said no reason was given by the Speaker, Datuk Law Choo Kiang, for rejecting the motion.
