KUALA LUMPUR: Many elderly people who had applied for welfare assistance said their children did not care for them, said Deputy Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun.
She said the ministry found many senior citizens had children but said that their children did not care for them or were not able to care for them.
