Raid on pirated software scores big


JOHOR BARU: Some RM400,000 worth of computers and suspected pirated software were seized from an architectural firm in Kulai – the largest haul in a single raid by the Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Ministry this year.

Deputy chairman of the state enforcement office Rizq Fazliana Abd Hamid said five computers, worth RM15,000 in total, and 42 copies of the software, valued at RM387,500, were confiscated on May 3.
