Copter crash: Digital sonar being used to find wreckage


PETALING JAYA: With all six bodies found from the fatal AS350 helicopter crash in Batang Lupar, Sarawak, the Royal Malaysian Navy will now deploy a high resolution digital sonar system to search for the wreckage.

The navy’s Region 2 commander Rear Admiral Datuk Khairul Anuar Yahya told The Star Online on Monday that a team is already at Lingga with the device to search for the wreckage.
