PETALING JAYA: The Christian Federation of Malaysia (CFM) has questioned why the National Registration Department (NRD) had been relentless in its bid to prevent Roneey Rebit from renouncing Islam.
The CFM noted that the matter had required Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem to step in and stop the NRD from appealing the Kuching High Court decision that Roneey was to be recognised as a Christian.
