PETALING JAYA: Retired disabled soldier Baharudin Zakaria’s application for welfare aid was rejected because he has children whose total monthly earnings go beyond the RM2,000 limit.
Baharudin is among 300,000 former servicemen who are not eligible for the armed forces pension scheme because they have not served the minimum 21 years.
