Register and be entitled, engineers told

SEREMBAN: Engineers and architects cannot use the title “Ir” or “Ar” alongside their names if they are not registered with their respective professional bodies.

They are also not allowed to use the abbreviation “P.Eng” (Professional Engineer) or “P.Arch” (Professional Architect) if they are not members of the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) or the Board of Architects Malaysia (BAM).
