JOHOR’s tourism sector was a big winner with the depreciation of the ringgit last year.State Tourism, Trade and Consumerism committee chairman Datuk Tee Siew Kiong said some 6.95 million tourists visited the state last year, compared with 6.4 million in 2014.
This made Johor the state with the biggest number of tourist arrivals in the country last year, he said in a reply to Hamimah Mansor (BN- Penawar).
