GEORGE TOWN: The Planning Appeals Board has the power to temporarily stop developers from acting on planning permissions granted by local authorities.
Board chairman Datuk Yeo Yang Poh said it could issue a stay of implementation of planning permissions pending an appeal by landowners against approved development plans.
