KUALA LUMPUR: Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar (pic) said Monday the police did not rule out the possibility of seeking the assistance of former 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) CEO Datuk Shahrol Azral Ibrahim Halmi in any investigation into the government-owned strategic investment company.
He said the decision of the police in the matter would be made after reading the 106-page report of the Public Accounts Committee on 1MDB that was tabled in the Dewan Rakyat last Thursday.
