PARLIAMENT cannot question the Attorney-General directly as he is not an elected or appointed representative.
Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Nancy Shukri, in a written reply, said this requirement was stated in paragraphs one and two of the Standing Orders, which allowed parliamentary questions to be submitted only to ministers, MPs and senators.
