PETALING JAYA: Misleading advertisements on electronic media have come under increased scrutiny by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), particularly those promoting health and slimming products or services.
Realising this, the Communications and Multimedia Content Forum of Malaysia (CMCF), the independent body under the commission tasked with enforcing the Communications and Multimedia Content Code, has come up with a specific set guidelines for advertisements pertaining to slimming products and services.
