PUTRAJAYA: Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad wants political parties to cease accepting donations from foreign entities, citing fears that they could be bound by external policies.
Speaking to reporters at the Perdana Leadership Foundation on Saturday, the former prime minister said the ruling party would have to follow the intentions of its foreign counterparts if it takes donations from them to win an election.
