KLUANG: A civil servant pleaded not guilty to five counts of under-declaring his income to the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) involving a sum of RM687,428 in tax for five consecutive years.
Kalamullah Ali Raza, 47, was charged with providing false information of his income in the IRB return from 2007 to 2011. He allegedly failed to declare RM13,705 in 2007, RM47,195 (2008), RM132,991 (2009), RM94,565 (2010) and RM298,972 (2011) for revenue of his oil palm sales to several companies.
