KUALA LUMPUR: The Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Ministry will be on the lookout for any traders engaging in profiteering in the current heatwave.
“Of course, the prices of some fresh produce like fruits and vegetables will go up because El Nino will diminish supply in some cases, while demand remains the same – but any price hikes should be within reason,” said Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin yesterday.
