SEREMBAN: Government hospitals have been told to exercise greater control when dispensing medicines and to use more generic drugs as the Health Ministry moves to cut spending by at least 10% this year.
Ministry secretary-general Datuk Dr Chen Chaw Min said this was important as the Government forked out RM3.4bil last year to buy medicines and vaccines.
