PETALING JAYA: New regulations against women in sports by the Kelantan state government will further hinder the development of women in the state says MCA Party vice-president Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun.
“This instruction is too broad and sweeping, and overwhelmingly discriminates against women sports officials besides discouraging women from taking up the traditional male domain of boxing as a sports,” she said in a statement on Thursday.
