KUALA LUMPUR: The newly-minted city police chief considers his appointment an honour to the ethnic minorities in Malaysia, especially Sikhs, who make up 0.16% of the country’s police force.
Comm Datuk Amar Singh (pic) said his appointment was testament to how the police were “colour-blind” when carrying out their duties as well as promoting their officers.
