KOTA KINABALU: A senior diplomat from the Philippines has been summoned by Wisma Putra over recent remarks by its vice-president Jejomars Binay concerning Sabah.
Binay, the former Mayor of Makati who is among the candidates for the Philippine presidential election scheduled for May 9, said in a recent interview that he will pursue his country’s territorial claim over Sabah.
