GEORGE TOWN: The Penang government has engaged two legal experts in its bid to avoid paying compensation for rejecting development for land 76m above sea level or special projects approved by the previous state administration.
Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said Universiti Malaya Law Prof Gurdial Singh Nijar and former Bar Council president Datuk Ambiga Sreenevasan were hired to help Penang Island City Council over the matter.
