KUALA LUMPUR: Wanita MCA supports the proposal for the Government to enact legislation prohibiting employers from questioning the pregnancy status of female candidates during job interviews.
Its chairman Datuk Heng Seai Kie said the call by the Malaysian Trade Union Congress could protect all expectant mothers, as pregnancy was a fundamental right of women.
