KUALA LUMPUR: A “lifetime radiation exposure” card that allows doctors to better keep tabs on patients who undergo radiation procedures will be introduced by the Health Ministry.
The ministry plans to start patients using the card by mid-year. This would involve those undergoing imaging medical procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, mammograms and any radiological investigation.
