KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia needs to cut the number of casualties in traffic accidents by half as it goes down the road to becoming a developed nation by 2020, says Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai.
Statistically, reducing the number of deaths means lowering accident rates to a ratio of 2:10,000 registered vehicles in the country.
