GEORGE TOWN: One of the four friends injured in a homemade firecracker blast in Nibong Tebal was so badly hurt that he ended up in the intensive care unit (ICU) with about 20% burns on his face.
Penang Hospital Visitors Board chairman Lim Thoon Deong said multiple discipline specialists were treating the youth, who is in his late teens, for the burns sustained in the 3.45am blast on Thursday.
