Highway traffic remains smooth flowing at 1pm

PETALING JAYA: As the long Chinese New Year holidays come to an end, traffic flow on major highways is reported to be smooth flowing.

The Star Media Group Traffic reported that traffic flow was smooth in both directions at the Karak and Bentong toll of the Karak Highway at 1pm Saturday.

On the North South Expressway, smooth flowing traffic was reported although more vehicles were seen heading towards the Klang Valley.

In the northern region, traffic was slow south-bound before the Menora Tunnel heading towards Ipoh and also before the Tapah R&R.

In the south, traffic was slow from Bandar Ainsdale towards Seremban and Senawang.

Traffic was also reportedly slow after the Sungai Besi toll towards Kuala Lumpur.

The public is advised to drive slowly and keep alert at all times.
