CEO wants to quiz officials

KUALA LUMPUR: A chief executive officer who revealed financial improprieties by a company’s officials to the authorities and is seeking protection as a whistleblower, wants to question the officials over contentious facts in their affidavits.

Dr Syed Omar Syed Agil, 56, was appointed CEO of Institut Profesional Baitulmal Sdn Bhd, on Sept 1, 2014 but suspended on Oct 7 last year.
