PETALING JAYA: The proposal by the Attorney-General to increase the punishment under the Official Secrets Act is an assault against freedom of expression, says the Centre for Independent Journalism (CIJ).
CIJ said that it was appalled by the assault against the role of freedom of expression and information in upholding democracy in Malaysia.
