KUALA TERENGGANU: The state government plans to either relocate schools which are badly affected by floods each year to higher ground or to raise the structures, said state Education committee chairman Ghazali Taib.
Ghazali, who is also the State Science, Technology and Special Tasks Committee chairman, said the losses suffered by the state government each year amounted to millions as schools in the low lying areas were badly affected by floods, with most of their furniture damaged.
